Future Leaders in Travel Retreat, powered by TravelAge West, is now accepting travel advisor applications. The event will take place at the Hyatt Ziva/Zilara Rose Hall in Jamaica from Aug 27 to 30.

Future Leaders is dedicated to connecting travel buyers and sellers between the ages of 22 and 37. "Each year, we receive hundreds of applications from advisors who are on track to take our industry to the next level," said Jacquie Hurst, director of trade recruitment and engagement, Travel Weekly & TravelAge West Events. "It's so impressive to see what they've already accomplished and where they are looking to take their businesses in the future."

During the four-day event, advisors and suppliers have the opportunity to build authentic relationships through collaborative content sessions, small group meetings, outdoor activities, and social events full of local flare. Education focuses on professional development and provides insights on how this generation will influence the future of our industry. Attendees leave Future Leaders with both new ideas for conducting business and professional relationships for life.

To be considered for the event, advisors must provide details on annual bookings and industry experience, in addition to supplying one industry reference with contact details. Accepted participants are fully hosted and receive access to all event programming, including meetings with supplier participants.

A limited number of 2022 participants have been selected to return as guides for the 2023 event. These advisors were chosen based on their achievements and enthusiasm for the event's purpose. During the event, guides help first-time participants navigate the conference, ensuring attendees get the most out of it. They also contribute to the educational content by hosting or moderating workshops and panels and facilitating discussions.

The 2023 guides are Kirsten Andrade, Favorite Grampy Travels; Janine Blas, Neverland & Main Travel; Marisa Costa, AMIKO; Lauren Garner, TRAVELENNIUM; JoAnna Gonseth, J Luxe Travel; Hailey Huchingson, Northcutt Travel Agency; Courtney Jackson, Wishful Escapes; Samantha McNeely, WDWGETAWAYS; Julie Patterson, Wanderfully Planned; Brittany Shuford, Darling Destinations LLC; Lina Sutton, Go Wander Travel Co.; Ashley Taylor, Key to the World Travel; Autumn Trussell, Abundant Travel--Dream Vacations; Tyson Wharton, Sioux Empire Travel; Emily Zwiebel, ET FAMILY TRAVEL.

Supplier participants range from air, cruise, and destinations to hotels and resorts, professional services, and tour operators. Suppliers interested in participating can review participation levels and reach out to Matt Hatch (mhatch@ntmllc.com) or Emmy Morales (emoralees@ntmllc.com) for more details.
