Gerry Bourbeau has been with Travel Weekly since 1996 and has spent most of that time as the deputy managing editor, overseeing the copy desk and the daily operations of the publication. He’s the guy who stays behind and answers the phone while everyone else is on assignment, seeing the world and having a wonderful time.

Before joining Travel Weekly he was a sportswriter with the News Tribune in central New Jersey, where they did let him out of the office occasionally; he covered everything from Little League baseball to the Super Bowl and the World Series.
