Falcon's Resort by Melia, All Suites Punta Cana, a joint development between Melia Hotels International and entertainment-development company Falcon's Beyond, has opened its first phase.
The new resort, which dubs itself a "resortainment" property, is a multiphase transformation of two Melia properties, the Paradisus Grand Cana and Garden Suites by Melia. The first phase rebranded the Paradisus Grand Cana and includes the renovation of 432 luxury suites, three swimming pools, nine specialty restaurants and a spa and fitness center.
Phase two, the rebrand of Garden Suites by Melia, will offer 190 rooms and is slated to be completed by late 2023.

The resort is adjacent to the Katmandu Park Punta Cana, which was conceived and built by Falcon's Beyond Global and is currently under construction. The theme park is scheduled to open on March 15. Until then, resort guests will receive exclusive access to select attractions of the theme park as a sneak peek before the full park opens to the public.

and unexpected fun to the traditional vacation experience," said Andre
Gerondeau, COO of Melia Hotels International.
Melia and Falcon's Beyond will partner on additional Falcon's Beyond
Destination developments in other markets, detailing plans to bring the
concept to Mexico in 2025.
Opening rates start at $420 per night for standard rooms and $700 per night for Beyond Suites, all-inclusive at double occupancy. Suites range from 800 to 2,990 square feet.
Travel advisors can book through Melia Pro with up to a 16% commission.
