Discount long-haul carrier Norse Atlantic Airways will expand into the Caribbean and Asia this fall.

Beginning in the final week of October, the carrier will fly daily from London Gatwick to Barbados. Norse Atlantic will also fly to Jamaica's Montego Bay and Kingston, offering four-times-weekly and twice-weekly service, respectively.

Meanwhile, the airline will also spread its wings to Thailand, flying from Oslo to Bangkok twice a week beginning Nov. 2.

The new routes will significantly expand the map of the young airline, which began operations last summer. This summer, Norse Atlantic will fly a dozen routes, all connecting Europe with the U.S.

A 13th route, between Gatwick and Boston, will launch on Sept. 1.

With the new London winter routes, Norse Atlantic will offer the second-most long-haul seats out of Gatwick next winter, CEO Bjorn Tore Larsen said.
