A hilarious, energetic celebration of Henry VIII's wives, Tony Award-winning "Six the Musical" has opened in the Palazzo Theatre at the Venetian Resort Las Vegas for a limited engagement.
The Tudor queen consorts, inspired by global stars who have made their marks in Vegas, become modern pop sensations in the raucous production. They compete to become the best queen and lead singer of a girl group.
Catherine of Aragon is inspired by Beyonce; Anne Boleyn by Miley Cyrus; Jane Seymour, Adele; Anne of Cleves, Lizzo; Katherine Howard, Britney Spears; and Catherine Parr, Celine Dion.
The production won 23 awards during the 2021-2022 Broadway season, including a Tony Award for best original score (music and lyrics) and a Tony Award for best costume design of a musical.
The production's Broadway album, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard cast album chart, surpassed 6 million streams in its first month and has been streamed more than 23 million times.
