More than 50 interactive, kinetic and illuminated artworks will be displayed in "Transfix," a touring immersive art experience at Resorts World Las Vegas starting April 21 and lasting through the fall.

Large-scale sculptures, tunnels, video installations and ocular and sonic landscapes will fill Resorts World's 200,000-square-foot, multilevel venue. Guests, who should allow 90 minutes to two hours to see all of the exhibit, can also enjoy the offerings of speakeasies and retail spots scattered among the art.

Artists represented include Christopher Bauder & KiNK, Marco Cochrane, Foldhaus Collective, Kate Raudenbush, Christopher Schardt, Playmodes, HOTTEA and Kevin Clark.

"Our aim is to elevate and redefine 'immersive,'" said Tom Stinchfield, Transfix co-founder and chief revenue officer. "We believe that interacting with art at this large of a scale can change the world by illuminating one mind at a time. If we can inspire even a fraction of our guests to restore their childlike wonder and curiosity -- or explore their own personal creativity and expression -- we've done our jobs well."

Following its inaugural Las Vegas residency, Transifix will tour in major U.S. cities and abroad.

Artwork includes:

• Sculptor Cochrane's "R-Evolution," standing more than 45 feet tall and weighing 32,000 pounds, the third sculpture in a series depicting San Francisco area dancer Deja Solis. Cochrane's only kinetic sculpture to date contains 17 motors and is intended to inspire viewers to take action to end violence against women.
• Bauder & KiNK's "Axion," a gridlike arrangement of light tubes and moving lights looks like a giant device for space exploration or particle detection. Guests can step inside to experience "a flowing dream of light and sound that meanders through the night," according to exhibition organizers.
• Raudenbush's "As Above, So Below," a 25-foot, mirrored pyramid, is a gathering space where guests can "converge and contemplate the infinitely large and small worlds that make up our reality."

The exhibition will be open evenings daily except Mondays. Tickets start at $59 plus tax and fees and are on sale now.
