This year's international route launches included Newark-Naples, Italy; Newark-Prague; Washington Dulles-Tel Aviv; and San Francisco-Melbourne, Australia. In spring, the carrier introduced its Premium Plus international cabin. In September, the carrier introduced PlusPoints, a new way for Premier members to manage their upgrade benefits. And in October, United unveiled the CRJ-550, the industry's first 50-seat jet with a true first-class cabin.
