The Waldorf Astoria Orlando is embarking on a top-to-bottom revamp this month.
The multiphased renovation project, which will include a refresh of the property's 502 rooms and suites, its lobby space, select food and beverage outlets, spa and 18-hole golf course, is expected to be completed by December.
Following the refurbishment, the Waldorf Astoria Orlando's lobby will feature marble detailing and natural colors, while the property's accommodations will showcase updates like new furniture, fresh artwork and a garden-inspired color palette of taupe, linen and shades of green.
Restaurant redesigns
On the culinary front, the property's Peacock Alley lobby restaurant and Bull & Bear steakhouse will both be undergoing a redesign. While Peacock Alley is temporarily closed, the property's Sir Harry's Lounge will double as the Croissant Bar for breakfast, lunch and light bites, while the Bull & Bear dining experience will be temporarily relocated to the hotel's Oscar's Brasserie venue.
The Waldorf Astoria Orlando will also debut a Waldorf Marketplace, which will be located adjacent to the Peacock Alley space. Designed to be a multifunctional, all-day space, the Waldorf Marketplace will serve up coffee, baked goods, prepared foods and other items.

Renovations to the golf course will include widened playing corridors and expanded greens as well as a full redesign of the course's 16th, 17th and 18th holes.
The latest wave of renovations follows the Waldorf Astoria Orlando's recent makeover of its meetings and event spaces, including the addition of a Central Park Ballroom, which added 8,000-plus square feet of ballroom space, nearly 2,600 square feet of prefunction space and a 8,700-square-foot, covered outdoor patio to the Waldorf's meetings facilities.
Hilton opened the Waldorf Astoria Orlando in 2009. The hotel is co-located with the Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek within Orlando's 482-acre Bonnet Creek nature preserve.
